展品是展示活動的基礎和依托
展品是展示活動的基礎和依托,是展示內容的載體,也是展示目的和任務的具體體現。一般來說,在展示場所陳列出來供觀眾參觀的物品,統稱為展品。

展品的形態差異較大,有自然物品和人工制品、文物和當代物品、原件物品和仿制品等之分。

從經典的意義上講,并不是所有的物品都能成為展品。展品一般需要具備三個條件:

1、公開性。展出的物品必須能在公共場合,讓公眾都能參觀。但是,現代展示,尤其是展銷會向展品的經典性發起了挑戰。

2、可感性。展出的物品必須能讓人通過五官(視、聽、嗅、味、觸等五覺)直接感知到。
